Kids Class Handbuilding and Wheelthrowing ages 8-12 years
Instructor:  Emily Barrow
Teaching Assistant:  Sean O’Donnell
March 21st-April 25th (no class April 18th)
Thursdays, 4-6:30pm

5 sessions:  $187.50

This class will be taught by Emily Barrow who has been teaching kids for 5 years and loves helping others pursue their passions for pottery!

This class is an all-level pottery class for teens ages 8-12. For beginning students Emily will focus on the fundamentals of wheel throwing. In class, students will learn how to throw cylinders, bowls, plates, and vases! For those teens that have more experience in clay and know what they would like to focus on, the class is less structured in order to give the student independence as they work through their particular vision in clay. Emily will be present for questions and for structural advice and technique, as well as for advanced demonstrations.

The kids class at Feet of Clay will give the young inspired ceramicist an inside look at a working pottery studio and its many working artists. This program is great for young potters looking to develop more skills outside of a school setting.
